Getting Started: Easy First Steps

The fundamentals necessary to creating a functional Internet presence with your new Virtual Server are all included here. This is an excellent resource for first time Virtual Server users.

I. Schedule your training session!
As a new customer, it is important for you to become familiar with your new Server.  All Server B and Cs come with a 3 hour phone training session.  This training will completely familiarize you with your new server.  Many have said this is the best part of the entire hosting experience!  One on One training, showing you what to touch, what not to touch, how to add users, pop accounts, setting up email forwarding, adding domain names to your Server, and much more!  By providing this training, you can be brought up to speed much more quickly than if you stumbled along learning it the "hard way".  Here is your chance to finally understand!

The basic training covers these areas:

1. A directory by directory tour of your server via ftp.

2. Some basic telnet commands
