Restarting Your Virtual Server Web Server Normally, your Virtual Server Apache Web Server is automatically restarted every time you edit and save your web server configuration file (~/www/conf/httpd.conf). However, if you need to manually restart your Virtual Server web server, it is easily done. Simply connect to your Virtual Server via Telnet or SSH and execute the following command.
% restart_apache
All active web server processes will be killed, and new web server processes will be started.
